Hosted by the University of Antwerp and technically sponsored by the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery), GoodIT 2025 will bring together a vibrant, multidisciplinary community of researchers, practitioners, and thought leaders who are advancing technology in service of society.
The conference is grounded in the belief that computing and digital innovation should be used not only to push technical boundaries, but to actively improve people’s lives and promote sustainable, equitable, and ethical futures. Building on the success of previous editions, GoodIT 2025 will feature an inspiring programme of peer-reviewed papers, keynotes, and interactive sessions, all dedicated to the design, development, and application of information technologies for the social good.
In addition, GoodIT 2025 offers a rich variety of Special Tracks, each focusing on targeted areas of societal relevance—from green networking and AI transparency, to ICT for mental health, inclusive design, digital heritage, and technologies for climate resilience. These tracks provide a unique opportunity to dive deeper into focused communities of research and practice within the broader GoodIT mission.
