The 14th European Congress on Violence in Clinical Psychiatry (ECVCP 2026) brings together clinicians, researchers, educators, policymakers, mental health service users and carers to exchange scientific knowledge and practical expertise on the prevention and management of violence, aggression and coercion in mental healthcare.

Taking place in Antwerp on 5 and 6 November 2026, the congress will focus on the theme “Navigating Uncertainty: Mental Health Care in a World at Risk.” Through keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations, workshops and networking opportunities, participants will explore clinically relevant research and evidence that can be directly applied within mental health practice.

Held every two years, ECVCP provides an international and interdisciplinary platform for sharing best practices, discussing new research and strengthening collaboration among professionals committed to improving safety and quality of care in mental health settings.
