Last year’s event held in Rotterdam, drew hundreds of tug professionals from around the world and received high praise for its outstanding presentations, networking and exhibition opportunities as well as the celebration of the ITS Awards.
The 2023 event focused on critical topics such as the decarbonisation challenge for tug owners, emission reduction strategies, training for new technologies and emerging technologies like alternative fuels, batteries and electrification. Safety issues were also examined, including man overboard prevention and recent industry guidance on preventing man-in-water incidents. As always, there was a special emphasis on new and recently introduced designs and equipment.
