We’re living in a time where technological breakthroughs tumble over each other at breakneck speed. It’s difficult enough to keep up with current waves of innovation – let alone to catch the next one.
That’s where imec’s ITF conferences come in. Aiming to connect, inform and inspire stakeholders from tech and tech-enabled industries as well as governments and academia. To foster cross-sector and cross-discipline collaboration, and fuel global innovation.
In the deep-tech age, innovation leaps are seldom the work of individuals. Their origin is situated in labs, R&D centers and foundries. On the intersections of academia and industry, and backed by governments and investors.
This is exactly where imec holds a unique position. We’re at the heart of an ecosystem that includes more than 600 world-leading industry partners and a global academic network. That makes it our role to share the insights we gain, and foster the opportunities for collaboration we see.
The first Imec Technology Forum was held in Belgium, where imec was founded and its current headquarters are situated. It’s still the location of the yearly flagship event ITF World. But with its success came the need for additional instalments that focus on specific topics – such as ITF Photonics, ITF Beyond 5G, ITF Semicon USA, ITF towards NETZERO – or that bring together certain markets – such as ITF Japan and ITF Flanders.
Whatever the topic or location, a visit to an ITF conference guarantees you one-of-a-kind experiences like keynotes by experts and industry leaders, demos showcasing revolutionary technologies, and networking opportunities.
