Antwerp is a city that has influenced fashion trends for centuries, once a major port for the textile industry, it is now one of the world’s leading fashion metropolises. This rich heritage is reflected not only in the city’s ever-evolving fashion scene, but also in the new Motel One Antwerp.
Fashion is at the centre of the hotel’s design and you can tell as soon as you walk through our doors. Hand-woven rugs, designed by a former student of Dries Van Noten, one of Belgium’s most famous designers, adorn the reception and add stylish accents. A little further on, a classic chequered pattern lends the bar a timelessly elegant air. And the breakfast area is charmingly quirky: here, they made it look as though some clothes have fallen off their hangers, a playful detail that’s bound to make our guests smile.
