The fourth ECOSYSTEX Conference brings textile experts, innovators, industry leaders, and policymakers to Antwerp to explore circular textiles beyond recycling. Hosted in partnership with the University of Antwerp, the event gathers the European Community of Practice for a Sustainable Textile Ecosystem, a network of more than 90 EU-funded projects working on textile sustainability, circularity, and skills.
Across three days, participants join interactive sessions led by leading EU projects including CISUTAC, Circula-TEX, SOLSTICE, FABRIX, JUST FASHION, and CRAFT-IT4SD, and witness the launch of the Bioeconomy Innovation Strategy for the European Fibres, Textiles and Apparel Industry. The programme reaches beyond the conference hall with a semi-automated garment repair showcase at De Kringwinkel Antwerp, a Fashion & Sustainability Walk guided by MoMu Fashion Museum, and site visits to Belgian research and technology centres, connecting a pan-European audience with Antwerp's fashion and circular textile ecosystem.
